  • 1 wedge Lime For garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Shredded coconut For garnish
  • White chocolate shavings Optional garnish for extra festive touch
Optional Enhancements:
  • 2 ounces Coconut rum Optional for extra coconut flavor
  • 1 ounce Coconut cream For a richer texture
  • ¼ teaspoon Vanilla extract For an added depth of flavor
  • 1 ounce White cranberry juice For a fruity twist

Equipment

  • 1 Collins glass or highball for serving
  • 1 Muddler or wooden spoon for muddling mint
  • 1 Cocktail jigger for measuring liquids
  • 1 Bar spoon for stirring
  • 1 Fine strainer optional, for muddling mint
  • 1 Squeeze bottles optional for pre-measuring lime juice and simple syrup

Method

  1. Place fresh mint leaves and simple syrup in the bottom of a glass. Use a muddler or wooden spoon to gently bruise the mint leaves to release their oils.
  2. Add white rum, lime juice, and coconut milk. Stir gently to incorporate the ingredients and create a smooth, milky-white texture.
  3. Fill the glass with crushed ice. Top with club soda, pouring slowly to avoid overflow. Stir gently.
  4. Add a sprig of fresh mint, lime wedge, shredded coconut, and optional white chocolate shavings for a festive touch.
  5. Enjoy the drink while it's cold and the club soda is bubbly.
