Ingredients

  • ½ cup Rolled Oats Base for oats
  • ½ cup Greek Yogurt For protein and creaminess
  • 2 tablespoon Cream Cheese Softened for blending
  • ½ cup Milk Choice of milk To hydrate oats
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup adjust based on preference
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract Adds flavor
  • ½ cup Fresh Strawberries Diced
  • 2 tablespoon Graham Cracker Crumbs For topping
  • Optional Chia Seeds Adds fiber and omega-3s
  • Optional Protein Powder For an extra protein boost
  • Optional Strawberry Jam Adds extra sweetness if desired
  • Optional Lemon Zest For a zesty kick

Equipment

  • 6 Mason Jars Airtight for storage
  • 1 Medium bowl For mixing oats and ingredients
  • 1 Whisk To blend cream cheese and yogurt
  • 1 Sharp knife To dice strawberries
  • 1 Measuring Cups For accurate ingredient portions

Method

  1. Begin by leaving the cream cheese out for 10 minutes to soften it. This makes it easier to blend into the yogurt and milk without lumps, giving the oats a creamy texture.
  2. Whisk together the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and milk until smooth. Add maple syrup and vanilla extract to sweeten the base and enhance the cheesecake flavor.
  3. Wash and hull the strawberries, then cut them into small pieces. This allows the sweetness of the strawberries to infuse into the oats while keeping the texture of the fruit intact. Reserve a few slices for garnish.
  4. Spoon half of the oat mixture into mason jars, followed by a layer of diced strawberries, then top with the remaining oat mixture. This layering ensures even distribution of flavor.
  5. Seal the jars and place them in the fridge for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight. This allows the oats to absorb the creamy mixture and soften to the perfect texture.
  6. Before serving, stir the oats and top with fresh strawberry slices and a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs for crunch. You can eat it cold or warm it up slightly in the microwave.
