Ingredients

  • 4.5 oz vodka Use a smooth neutral vodka for clean flavor
  • 1.5 oz coffee liqueur Adds sweetness and depth; Kahlua-style works well
  • 2–2.25 oz salted caramel sauce Thick sauce preferred so it blends smoothly
  • 3 shots freshly brewed espresso Hot espresso helps dissolve the caramel
  • Ice Large cubes chill without excessive dilution
  • 9 coffee beans Classic garnish symbolizing luck and balance

Method

  1. Pour the vodka, coffee liqueur, salted caramel sauce, and freshly pulled espresso shots into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Gently swirl the shaker for a moment so the warm espresso loosens and blends the caramel sauce.
  3. Add a generous handful of ice to the shaker and seal tightly.
  4. Shake forcefully for about 10 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and topped with foam.
  5. Strain the cocktail evenly into chilled coupe glasses and finish each with three coffee beans.
