Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cups frozen mango chunks Use sweet and ripe mango for the best flavor
  • 4 ½ ounces silver tequila Preferably a smooth mid-tier tequila
  • 2 ¾ ounces freshly squeezed lime juice Freshly squeezed for optimal tartness
  • 1 ⅔ ounces agave syrup Can substitute with simple syrup
  • 1 ⅔ cups ice Add more if a thicker consistency is desired
For serving:
  • Lime wedges For rimming and garnishing the glasses
  • 1 ¼ tablespoons Tajín or chile lime seasoning For an extra tangy kick
  • Paper umbrellas Optional for added fun and flair

Method

  1. Begin by preparing your glasses: Pour Tajín (or chile lime seasoning) onto a small plate. Use a lime wedge to moisten the rim of each glass, then roll the glass in the seasoning to coat it evenly.
  2. Combine the frozen mango, silver tequila, agave syrup, and freshly squeezed lime juice in a high-powered blender. Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes smooth.
  3. If the margarita looks too thin, add more ice cubes and blend again until it reaches the desired consistency.
  4. Pour the blended margarita into the prepared glasses. Garnish with lime wedges and, if desired, paper umbrellas.
