Instructions
Prepare the Dough:
Combine cake mix and yeast in a large bowl
Add warm water and melted butter, mix well
Gradually add flour until soft dough forms
Knead 5-7 minutes until smooth
Let rise 30 minutes in warm place
Make the Filling:
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon
Have softened butter ready
Shape and Fill:
Roll dough to 15x20 inch rectangle
Spread with softened butter
Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture
Roll tightly from long edge
Cut into 12 pieces
Second Rise and Bake:
Place in greased 9x13 pan
Let rise 30 minutes
Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes
Frost and Serve:
Beat cream cheese and butter
Add powdered sugar, vanilla, milk
Spread on warm rolls
Notes
Water temperature is crucial for yeast activation
For extra richness, replace water with warm milk
Can use white cake mix instead of yellow
Best served warm
Can be prepared night before and baked fresh in morning
