Method
 

  1. Stir together the cinnamon and sugar until evenly blended; set aside.
  2. Heat the oven to 350°F, grease a 9×13 pan, and dust the bottom with a thin layer of the cinnamon sugar.
  3. Unroll one sheet of dough, press seams together, and lay it across the bottom of the pan to fully cover the base.
  4. Beat the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth, then spread the mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Unroll the second sheet of dough, press seams together again, and position it over the filling to cover completely.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter over the top layer, smoothing it out, then sprinkle all remaining cinnamon sugar across the surface.
  7. Bake 26–30 minutes until puffed and golden, cool completely on a rack, then chill until firm before slicing.
